Executive Summary

Statum Method
What you are reading

Statum MD is a quarterly diagnostic report on a bank, modeled on how a doctor evaluates a patient: vitals, diagnosis, prescription, digital strategy, competitive context. Every section of this dashboard follows that five-step rubric (see the Statum Method tab).

Statum GPA is the headline score — a 1.0 to 9.0 composite of six equally weighted drivers (AER, ROA, ROE, ROTCE, TCE, T1LR), rounded to the nearest whole number and mapped to a letter grade from A+ (9) down to C− (1). It ships with an SVI (Statum Volatility Index) confidence tier; higher SVI confidence means the GPA can be read as a reliable forward signal rather than a point-in-time snapshot.

SVI — Statum Volatility Index

Every GPA ships with an SVI confidence tier (1 = highest confidence, 4 = lowest). SVI captures quarter-to-quarter volatility in the underlying drivers — a low SVI means you can trust the GPA as a forward signal; a high SVI says treat it as a point-in-time snapshot.

What's actually causing the symptoms? The Primary Focus Area names the largest peer-gap. DuPont decomposition shows where profitability leaks.

DuPont Decomposition — Where Returns Come From

Targeted directional actions to close the gap. Each prescription carries a priority, a mechanism, a timeline, an owner, and a directional success metric — no committed dollar figures.

    How to read this

    • Use cases are ranked by alignment to the Primary Focus Area, not by dollar ROI.
    • Directional prioritization only. Per pipeline policy, dollar and ROI-multiple figures are not surfaced here — they require feasibility analysis with vendor scoping and bank-specific data.
    • Each use case maps to a Statum Rx prescription shown on the right of its card.

    High-ROI Use Cases

Dollar impact and ROI multiples are intentionally omitted from this view. Per SQER Pipeline V8 policy, Rx-level financial projections are not surfaced in the SMD until they can be computed from validated DuPont-grade data. Use case prioritization shown here is directional, anchored to the bank's Primary Focus Area.

            ③ Statum Rx
Targeted directional prescriptions with priority (Critical / High / Medium / Low), mechanism, timeline, owner, and success metric. Each Rx is tied to a specific root cause from the Diagnosis.
